Centre and periphery of the circles are one.
The shape of Time emerged as a spontaneous image in my mind and doodle on paper. Unlike all the other forms I have carved in wood, neither Time nor Symbol acknowledge or trace the cubic volume of wood. Instead they appear one- / two dimensional and thus neither of them seems 'satisfying' as 'objects' or 'sculptures' / neither seem to satisfy what the word 'sculpture' might mean - a fact that seems to be of significance and which continues to concern me.
Both demand to be shown in close proximity to a flat surface: ground and wall.
